A friend and I went out on an early spring morning to capture the sun coming up over the Columbia River Gorge. Driving out, we almost turned around due to all the cloud cover but instead kept pushing forward. Once the sun came out from behind the clouds, we only had a few minutes before it all went away. This taught me not to give up just because of the elements – you never know what you will miss if you turn around.
